CANDY bills itself as a “Transversal Style” magazine: “the first fashion magazine ever completely dedicated to celebrating transvestism, transexuality, cross dressing and androgyny, in all its manifestations.”

The photography and styling are really sharp and chic without being cheezy, however I wonder about the necessity of the publication. If you’re a fashionable crossdresser wouldn’t your interest be in traditional publications? Aren’t you emulating thse images? Does the backstory that the models are cross dressing? especially when they appear in what would be considered not particularly pass-able “booger drag”?
